I had a good time putting together my last posting of car owner-submitted photos of the HMN editorial staff on photo shoot locations, so I asked around and got a few more submissions from the normally camera-shy editors.
Let’s start with the boss.
Never let it be said that our Editor-In-Chief, Richard Lentinello, doesn’t get down in the trenches like the rest of his staff.
Bill Clark, the Endicott, New York-based owner of this 1957 Metropolitan coupe and matching 1960 convertible, sent us this image of Richard hard at work. And his hard work paid off in the form of the cover of the February 2009 issue of Hemmings Classic Car.
Bill also sent us a photo of Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car editor Craig Fitzgerald immortalizing his Driveable Dream 1951 Fiat 500C from an earlier photo shoot.
Our resident Buick expert and all-around nice guy Associate Editor Matt Litwin shared a few photos that were shared with him, including an ever-popular ladder shot, while working with East Hartford, Connecticut, residents Jeff and Stella Anthony’s 1965 Chevy Malibu SS:
As well as this image of a rare 1982.5 Buick Grand National Regal from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Dan McCann for Hemmings Muscle Machines.
And speaking of Buicks, Managing Editor Kate Sullivan showed, once again, that she isn’t above tackling projects that don’t involve making us writers sound like edjuhmucated adults, here rising to a lower altitude to capture 21-year-old Dan Mahar’s 1951 Buick Roadmaster for an upcoming issue of Hemmings Classic Car.
Another non-writer who is always willing to lend a hand is our talented Design Editor, Ed Heys, who was captured here helping ensure Lyn Seaver’s 1969 Jaguar E-Type was spotless for its close up.
Ed’s eye for detail ensured also that Tom Scuccimarra’s fabulous 1958 Edsel Citation, our October 2008 HCC cover car, was at its best.
Our West Coast Associate Editor, Jeff “I-Only-Wear-Shorts” Koch, shared a couple of vintage shots that the owner of this 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SX sent him from an exotic locale obviously not in southwest Vermont.
And perhaps behind an exotic Home Depot?
Jeff also sent over a couple of images from his shoot of Bob and Teri Heckendorf’s pristine Datsun 260Z, a shoot that the Heckendorfs wrote up for the March 2007 issue of “ZBreeze,” their local Group ZÂ Sports Car Club.
